Eeeek! I am so excited to talk with you about Tish Cox, a Dallas-based designer whose work I have admired for years. Her pieces are the kind of very special pieces that you dream of for important life moments. They are so unique and feminine and are beautifully architected.
My brother got married last weekend and it was important to me to find very special looks for the occasion; no doubt these photos would live on in family history. I am also a big believer that how you feel about your look has a lot to do with how much fun you have; getting dressed up and looking great has got to improve your confidence and mood.
I chose Tish’s short Tiffany lemon dress for my brother’s rehearsal dinner and it. was. perfect! The cape created a sleeve that covered my arms and the elastic waist was flattering to my figure.
While my brother’s rehearsal dinner was a cocktail party, I will certainly wear this to other speaking engagements and dress it down with metallic flats for luncheons.
The my brother’s black tie wedding, I chose Tish’s Brocade Tiffany Evening Gown and per all of the social media ‘likes’ and shares, this was your favorite! The cut is actually the same as the cocktail dress I wore the night before, but in a maxi and with floral fabric. Again, the sleeve was quite flattering and the empire waist was perfect for my 35 week baby bump.
I accessoriezed my favorite Alexandre Birman heels. (Yes, they are comfortable!)
It can be so hard to find truly special pieces for big life events like these and finding these pieces in Dallas, my hometown, makes me proud for our city.
I expect you will be seeing much more Tish Cox very soon:)
