TGIF! Just one week ’till Baby Birdie is due! Never been happier for a Friday.
This is also a great Friday because I get to share my friend Tori with you for Friendly Friday.
You may remember Tori from when we first met on the set of Bravo’s Most Eligible Dallas– or from her spin-off with our mutual friend, Courtney Kerr, Courtney Loves Dallas, or, if you do not follow Bravo-lebrities, you probably know her from Instagram, @torigonzales_, and her brand handle, @allthewire.
Tori is one of those magnetic people who ‘calls it like it is’ (mainly because she is a good enough friend to keep you in-line), has a laid-back, cool-kid, casual style (think Sincerely Jules) and is an insanely talented creative, although you will have to discover that on your own because she will never brag about it or sell herself as savvy.
Tori and her sister, Desiree Cox, are co-founders of one of my favorite Texas-based e-tailers, All The Wire. This week, Tori gave Birdie one of her new bracelets and Mexican pillows (pictured below). While admiring her packaging, I found myself wondering what exactly All The Wire meant, considering that she does not use wire in her products.
Here is the love story behind All The Wire:
I’ve ALWAYS been in love with my sister Desiree’s love story about the day, her then boyfriend (now husband) told her how much he loved her. Grab some wine and get ready for goose bumps…IT’S THE BEST LOVE STORY EVER!One day, driving down the country roads she asked, “Jeff, how much do you love me?” and of course, typical guy answer, ” a lot.” which didn’t sit well with my sister. She needed full on detail, so she asked again and got the same answer. They kept driving and he told her to look outside the window, “See how the telephone wire keeps going and going? That’s how much I love you, all the wire….” I think she finally got the answer she was hoping for. These two love birds got married and on their wedding day, he had “All The Wire” engraved on her wedding band. -Tori
