I can’t believe that this is my last #venzeditsBumpDay post as a mom-to-be. It’s not that these 9 months have felt short- if anything, I feel like I have been pregnant for a full year- but I have gotten used to this physical reality and I am almost scared for this era to end. (I do not fully understand that emotion right now, but the post-pregnancy phase does scare me a bit. Any moms know what that is all about?)
Back to Bump Day:
Many people have asked if I have gotten my diaper bag yet and what I chose. The answer is yes, but it’s not what you think.
Growing up, I dreamed of customizing a Birkin bag, adding pockets inside and transforming it into the world’s chicest diaper bag. (Didn’t Kate Moss or someone do that?)
In my pursuit of this Birkin-turned-baby-bag, I came across an organizational product called ToteSavvy– a bag insert that easily drops in and out of your totes and large bags. It has a million storage compartments so everything from teethers to swaddling blankets to your keys have a dedicated compartment. I am a girl that changes her bag daily, which also means changing Birdie’s bag daily, so with this genius contraption, I wont be leaving anything important in my other bag.
