Five years ago this month, Baxter and I opened the first ever rewardStyle office in a residential, efficiency apartment, at Mockingbird Station in Dallas. With a budget of $800 to furnish the space, we bought three ikea desks, picked up some white chairs at a garage sale, painted our logo on an old canvas and came to work each day with our personal computers- there were no funds for company laptops or cinema displays. My mom donated an early generation Keurig to our space and we had a functioning office.
This month, nearly 200 rewardStyle team members from six global offices will came to our 33K sq ft headquarters for a week of bonding and celebrations. July was a month for reflection, gratitude, and family. Thank you to the entire #rStheFamily for being part of ours.
