Upon this GOTM’s return to the states from a year in Paris (where her romance with well-known Parisian artist, William Benhamou, began)  the largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry had just begun.

If you can’t tell by this first sentence, her life would be a NYT best seller.

In July of this year, at age 20, Whitney collaborated with celebrity stylist Patrick Aufdenkamp and launched the charity driven Help Us Project, an initiative that put consumers at the forefront of global activism by raising money for the Ocean Futures Society.

You may recognize their bags from the arms of Nicole Richie and Kate Bosworth, or  just Rachel Zoe’s twitter page (no big deal…). The Help Us Get Cleaned Up bags are just $42 and they have made a huge splash in Hollywood and a difference in the gulf.

But wait, she is not done. Her newest project with Aufdenkamp, Tender Heart, is a clothing line that promotes fair trade and was recently picked up by Intermix and Kitson. Check back next Tuesday to see what this GOTM likes to wear in her bi-coastal lifestyle.

To meet this GOTM and preview the collection before it hits stores this spring, come to Ceylon et Cie in Dallas on Thursday, November 4 from 5-8.
