OUR FAMILY TRIP TO FLORA FARM

This week, Baxter, Birdie and I traveled to Cabo for our first vacation there as a family. Baxter and I love Cabo (we had our wedding there) and it was so special to take Birdie for her first time!

While there, we planned a day trip to Flora Farm, a 10-acre organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains in San Jose del Cabo. Baxter and I started going years ago, and now it is a major destination in Cabo.

We went to the Flora Grocery first, which is in town. We did not realize it existed and stumbled across it while walking around the old town of San Jose.

The store smells amazing. It is an adorable tiny space, about 15 feet by 15 feet, but so well merchandised. The design is incredible, including the ceiling!

There is a lot to do on the grounds of Flora Farm– there is a James Perse store, croquet, bocce ball, a play set for the kids, and Live Work Artisan Shops. It is an amazing place.

Here are photos of Birdie’s first trip to the farm:

At the end of the day we ate at Flora’s Field Kitchen. Reservations are hard to get so you need to book far in advance. We got lucky and Amy Abbott, who coordinated our wedding, was able to get us a dinner reservation.
