BLAZIN’ GLORY

This is one of my favorite looks for fall because it incorporates so many trends while remaining understated. A look made up of wardrobe builders.

I found this black wool blazer in the Poleci showroom and had to have it (this line is experiencing a resurgence and it looks beautiful for fall). I love the length, the thin skinny sleeves and the architectural detail on the front lips of this coat. Remember, details are what makes a garment look expensive.

CHRISTIAN, IS THAT YOU?

This pair of “luxury rebel” (Yes, laugh at the label. It basically says we knock designers off) booties looks exactly like the Christian Louboutin version only these are $275!  You can’t even get a pair of Steve Madden boots for that.

Odds are, this pair is more comfortable. I have yet to meet a pair of Loubs that I could wear for more than 45 minutes, sitting down.

COMFY + CHIC

Just like you should not wear sloppy, ill fitting or clashing workout gear, you should not look homeless in your loungewear.

A year ago I invested in a pair of Splendid lounge pants and I still wear them nightly (and occasionally to the drug store). The length is perfect, even for tall girls, and the fold-over waistband helps to eliminate any muffin-top (see TEN FASHION RULES if you don’t know what a muffin-top is).

WARDROBE MVP: on SALE!

Remember my FAVORITE white floaty chiffon IRO top/ tunic that I wear with almost everything, everyday?

It went on SALE and now it is TOTALLY affordable!

Check out some of the ways I have styled it on FIT TO PRINT and PICKS FROM PARIS.

Clearly, this is my favorite top that I own. You will LOVE it!

LUMBER COMPANY

Of all the things that Jessica Simpson has her hand in (I have counted about 15), her shoe line is the best.

FRATERNAL TWINS?

Which version of this shoe is designer?

If you guessed the one on the left, you are correct. If you guessed the one on the right, you will be even happier with what I have to say.

The Balmain pump on the left is on SALE for $603 and the Steve Madden flat on the right is $59.95.

What an inexpensive way to get this runway look.

TO DYE FOR

Margaret’s casual summertime wear is effortless while still incorporating one of the biggest trends, as per Proenza: tie dye.

Her light, airy tunic is foiled with layers of vintage jewels and a pair of grey cutoff shorts.

You can incorporate this look into your transitional wardrobe two different ways:

YSL HAS GONE ON SALE!

They finally went on SALE! The YSL platform sandals that I obsessed over this past April!

See how I styled them in the PLAYSUITS + PLATFORMS article.

WANG + LEOPARD= LOVE

Ah. Wang + Leopard. What could be better.

There are good leopard prints and there are bad leopard prints. This is a good one.

VENZedits Tip: When it comes to leopard prints, pony fur is the best canvas and larger prints, like this one, look more expensive.

INDULGE WITH INHABIT

Fall Inhabit is here!!! I LOVE all things Inhabit!

This knitwear line is SO unique yet so basic. Confusing statement, but the cut and structure of each piece is like a piece of art while the company works primarily in solids and their garments are extremely wearable.
