OPEN THE DRAPE

Remember those leather leggings you just got on SALE for fall? The ones you are going to wear EVERY DAY? The Alexander Wang Merino Wool Cowl Back Cardigan is what you are going to wear on top.

Not only did we find this super-sexy wang top on SALE, but now through the 28th get an extra 30% off with code: EXTRA30.

VENZedits Tip: wear this top with leather shorts and just push up the sleeves for going out this summer (and please, do not layer ANY drape back top with a tank- it is about as cool as wearing a sports bra with your prom dress).

PROENZA FOR PENNIES

This party-friendly Proenza Schouler dress has It Girl written all over it.

The best part: you can rent it for just 10% of the retail price!

PRETTY IN POINTELLE

Unlike many of the products we find you, this one does have an age limit. Sorry, mom.

These Madewell Pointelle Trouser Socks are the perfect height for wooden clogs and look adorable with a micro-floral dress like this Blu Moon Summer Lovin Dress. (Even if you are not big on the socks, this dress is a must have)

INTERN CLOSET: seneca rising

You have seen it on Nicole Richie, LiLo, the Hiltons and (most attractively/ importantly) on Allesandra Ambrosio.

Now, you are seeing it on Allie.

We love the shapes and screen patchwork used in the Seneca Rising tanks and surprisingly, they are well-priced.

WARDROBING 101: the perfect canvas

When packing for a trip, every girl needs a few quality basics to mix and match.

Dresses like this one do not have to be expensive and they make a fabulous canvas to show off your high-personality extras.

We bought this poncho dress at H&M for around $40, but since there are not any of those stores in the south, we have found you a few options online.

TOP ME OFF

Can you tell we are due for a winter in Los Angeles? With fedoras going so strong this summer and Prince William’s bride-to-be sporting toppers in every rag, we forsee the slouch hat coming on strong for fall.

We love the giant weave of this particular hat and being a “Bop Basic,” it is less than $60!

This is a get-it-and-save-it piece for fall.

GIVENCHY, IS THAT YOU?

Is it just us or do these SM booties closely resemble a pair of Givenchy booties from last fall that we saw on everyone from the Olsen twins to fashion blogger, Jane Aldridge.

Minus the embedded chain, these are a close match.

ALOHA, Honolulu!

We have only been here for an hour and we have already stopped for our oversized KOCH top.

As long as a dress on most women, we don’t really need our light wash jean shorts on the beach but they make a perfect beach-to-bar look with little effort.

FOR SEASONS TO COME

When buying shoes, we want to make sure that they are not too trendy and that they will hold up for seasons to come.

We understand that basic styles come and go, for example, pointed-toe pumps (these should no longer be worn); however, the basic flat boot is here to stay.

We suggest the Steve Madden HAVILAND boot. You can wear it with your riding pants or your skinny jeans.

These are chic and utility (and a good buy).

YOUR MOMENT

We saw a friend-of-a-friend in this cover-up at a bachelorette party and fell in love.

It is so unique compared to the basic printed tunics we always see. It sort of belongs on Sex in the City 3 (if that happens).
