CHANEL CAPITAL

When a $4000 anything gets marked down by 1/2, we need to tell you about it.

This authentic vintage Chanel hammered metal clutch is much more of a piece of art than a utility bag. The kind of thing a girl wants to set on a shelf (alongside her other treasures…like fabulous Lanvin heels) and admire.

The embossed logo and number details let everyone else know that this piece is authentic.

Wouldn’t this be cool to carry on your wedding day? The season is upon us…

D MAGAZINE: ultimate Dallas outfit

Check out Kristie Ramriez’ picks for the Ultimate Dallas Summer Outfit in the July issue of D Magazine, on stands today.

Ramirez used all Dallas designers, “Because with the city staring at a $130 million budget shortfall, we need all the sales tax receipts we can get.”

With so many talented Dallas-based designers, we don’t blame her.

URBAN SAFARI

This summer’s modern cuts and glam accessories take utility wear from sensible to sensational.

Tighter garments are simply unreasonable in the summer heat so we chose the Alice + Olivia Mallory Pintuck Shirtdress because of its day-to-night versatility and beat-the-heat fuller cut.

WE WILL NEVER TELL…

We love it when Gap.com has a sale because everything is SOO cheap!

EVERY girl needs a basic black bikini in her wardrobe if for nothing else than to wear under those adorable sheer cover-ups.

Why pay designer prices when the GAP version looks just the same?

We wont tell…

THE SPORTING LIFE

Wingtip golf shoes are not a staple in every woman’s closet, but when the adorable Steven Milty Wingtip Kiltie Flats go on SALE, they should be.

Wondering where we are going with this?

During the summer months, we love to look cute and be with our man, so here is the plan: get a group of your girlfriends together and plan a Saturday at the local community golf course. Rent a golf cart per couple and load it up with a cooler of cold beer and snacks for the day and have a tournament. It is a cheap way to have fun with your friends and a great photo-op for your adorable new golf attire.

Since you will just need to be cart-appropriate, wear a flirty summer dress with your new shoes.

GYPSET STYLE

Maddy’s look builds on contrasts between soft and bold colors, airy silk fabric and unique scoulped metal.

Her Stella McCartney dusty yellow party dress is from last season; however, you do not need this exact piece to get the look.

HALSTON: CHANNELING SJP

Everyone knows that the only reason you go to see a Sex in the City movie is to see what the cast (mainly Sarah Jessica Parker) is wearing.

At least, in our world this is how it goes down.

One of our favorite looks was when SJP came out in the Halston Heritage Iconic Pleated Long Dress in Orange.

Surprisingly, Carrie wore it a bit plainly- sans accessories; however, we suggest adding a bit of bling to complete the look.

MAJOR OBSESSION: STAGE 5

We have been STALKING this Miu Miu wedge since it first appeared on the Barneys website months ago and it has finally gone on SALE!

Generally, we tell you to wait until deeper mark-downs to purchase a SALE/ Investment piece at a price-point like this; however, this shoe will NOT be there if you wait for the price to dip.

Since we got ours in the mail last week, we have worn them everyday since and they are incredibly comfortable and incredibly under-the-radar sexy.

EVERYTHING U LOVE IN 1 PLACE

Generally, we do not go through the effort of signing into websites as a “member.” We can’t even remember our own e-mail password, much less one for every site we like.

Today, we made an exception. We became a shopbop.com member.

As a teen, and even until this day, we cut up fashion magazines and made fashion diaries to keep up with the looks we loved and hoped to one day buy.

It got a little disorganized…

FD LUXE LOOK OF THE WEEK

According to the July Vogue that landed on our doorstep this past weekend, “looking polished and grown-up is back.”

Tailored yet feminine, this outfit works on so many levels.
